I can’t wait for tonight’s OSCARS telecast– earlier than usual– 7PM on ABC or HULU with Boston’s own CONAN O’BRIEN helming the show with pitch perfect acumen! But the fashion show starts on the Red carpet at 6! This year’s outcomes are still pretty much up in the air with only one category in the bag– BEST ACTRESS JESSIE BUCKLEY who has won every award out there (except those given by cat lovers) for her heart-wrenching, otherworldly performance as Agnes wife of Will Shakespeare in HAMNET.
As for the rest, things have been in flux since the SAG/ACTOR awards threw everything into chaos before the final votes were cast on March 5. Michael B. Jordan has to be preparing an acceptance speech. Timothee Chalamet who was the front-runner early on for “Marty Supreme” should be getting ready to graciously lose. If he’s smart he’ll show up on the red carpet in a tutu humming “La Traviata.”

Best Actress: JESSIE BUCKLEY for “Hamnet”
Best Picture and Director: ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER directed by PAUL THOMAS ANDERSON
Best Song “GOLDEN” K-Pop Demon Hunters
And for the brand new, first time category, Best Casting: ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER
