We are happy to report that Allie Loftis, a Wayland Middle School student who had gone missing over a week ago, was found safe this morning in Jersey City, New Jersey. The investigation of the circumstances surrounding Allie’s disappearance and her subsequent activities is now in the able hands of the police. On behalf of our entire community, we can, with assurance, express a collective sign of relief, an appreciation for all those who worked to locate her, and a wish to wholeheartedly welcome her back. Thanksgiving has indeed come a week early this year!
