I am buried under mountains of white. The wall behind the house has disappeared and tonight everything’s freezing over. I may be the only person I know who’s enjoying this. Can’t get out. Must cancel everything. Watched Jack Nicholson movies all night on TCM: Five Easy Pieces, Terms of Endearment, Easy Rider. The more I see of him the more he gets to me. So does Juliette Lewis.
Sunday night the Boston Society of Film Critics passed out their awards in person and honored Ms. Lewis as BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS for her wildly distinctive turn in CONVICTION– the best thing about that movie. Juliette sent along a video of her acceptance speech which is as raw as anything she’s ever done onscreen. Love her. CLICK HERE.
