SUNDAY -MONDAY (11/6-7) At the Brattle Theatre celebrate ALEXANDER PAYNE with a special double feature on Sunday of SIDEWAYS and ELECTION followed by a Monday preview screening of his latest film THE DESCENDANTS starring George Clooney. THE DESCENDANTS is Payne’s newest film, the tragi-comic story of Matt King (Clooney) an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife falls into a coma after a boating accident. THE DESCENDANTS screens on Monday, Nov 7 at 8pm in a free, first-come-first-sat preview screening!

SUNDAY (11/6) Sam Shepard’s FOOL FOR LOVE with TRUE BLOOD star Rutina Wesley! Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s first installment of our 2012 American Voices* play reading series!
