Just in time for your holiday shopping, let me introduce you to LISA MONAHAN, an ingenious and philanthropic jewelry designer who’s been featured on the “Today Show,” “Huffington Post Style,” “Daily Grommet,” and now “JoycesChoices!”– and she’s right here in our own back yard! This weekend Lisa Monahan Metal works is having the 1st of 4 holiday open houses featuring the coolest modern, handmade bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and more.

Lisa, a trained architect, has an eye for seeing things in a new way. She’s invented a really clever line of jewelry called SWITCH GEAR, an interchangeable jewelry set that allows you to create 100’s of different earring and necklace combinations! The parts–which can be as offbeat as the gizmos you might find at a hardware store, or as vintage as red seed pearls and crystals– result in pieces you’ve never seen before. The sets come in these sleek, stacking, transparent travel cases, and the proceeds support survivors of domestic violence.

You can shop online or see the jewelry in person beginning this weekend! Here are the details:
